Recently I have been asked to create Facebook Fan Pages as a new style marketing tool. Facebook, which has gotten so huge over the last few years decided to come up with their own mark-up language (with this I officially say that any college student who knows HTML, CSS, and FBML should be TOTALLY EXEMPT from having to take a second language during their college years lol) and I have been trying to teach myself this new language.
Simply put FBML is:
Facebook Markup Language (FBML) enables you to build full Facebook Platform applications that deeply integrate into a user’s Facebook experience. You can hook into several Facebook integration points, including the profile, profile actions, Facebook canvas, News Feed and Mini-Feed.
I have found several resources to help me in my desire to learn and figured I would list them here as a way of giving back to others, since, like you, I had to google search to find this stuff out. Probably the single best source for the actual code is direct from Facebook.
