Q: What services do you specialize in?
A: My two main specialties are Paint Can Labels and WordPress Websites, however, this does not limit my abilities to create other forms of marketing collateral. I’ve done just about everything from logos and illustration to photo manipulation to brochures and sell sheets.

Q: Do you have a standard price list?
A: Not anymore, I have found that individualizing my prices based on my clients actual needs, helps to alleviate the stress surrounding the purchase or design and typesetting services. My default hourly rates are $36/hr for design and web design; $18/hr for general typesetting. My default rates are typically used if an agreed “fixed price” is not worked up initially.
I try to keep my prices as competitive and flexible as possible. Typically a small (up to 10 pages) wordpress website will run approximately $300, plus yearly hosting price of $170 (if you need hosting). Whenever possible I try to provide a fixed price on all web-design work, print design is typically worked up as an hourly rate unless otherwise discussed. When hourly rates are in place, I have a 1 hour minimum on all work.
If a client provides a file that I did not create a modification charge of $25 is automatically applied, if the modification takes more than 1 hour regular design hourly rates then go in effect.

Q: Will I own my artwork once it is complete?
A: Of Course! My theory behind commercial and other paid art is that you’ve paid for it, so you own it. I do request the ability to use the images in my online portfolio’s on this website and other websites I own as well as my Facebook photo galleries.
Q: Why wordpress?
A: Using WordPress for my webdesign helps me keeps costs down for my clients, in this economy no one wants to pay $2,000+ for a website. I have streamlined my webdesign process by using a standard set of customized premium themes (by Studiopress). It also allows me to create a complete website within 2 weeks*.
Q: What is your turn-around time?
A: Typically, depending on the project, most can be completed in 24-48 hours (print designs). This lead-time is not guaranteed, there are several factors that go into my lead time, including other in-process projects and the fact that I allow clients to purchase my time in blocks, if you want me at your beck and call for a week (40 hours) please contact me for more information. Giving my clients the opportunity to purchase blocks of guaranteed time, they can give me as many projects as they want in that purchased time block and all work is covered under that one fixed cost.
Websites are generally completed in approximately 1-2 weeks, depending on the amount of content.
Q: Is there anything you can’t do?
A: Yes. I do not create animated graphics, flash or custom databases. I also do not write or provide content. I will assist you with suggestions on content, but content is solely the responsibility of my clients.
Q: Can you help me set up social media accounts?
A: Yes! If I am creating a website for you those services are built-in based on need and desire. Typically I will help you set up; Facebook, Twitter and Youtube accounts, as well as gmail for document creation and image storage.
Q: Do you offer email newsletter designs?
A: Yes! I can not only help you set up your email marketing accounts, I can do custom email designs (depending on your email marketing client) and / or you can provide me with your content and I can log into your email marketing account and create the campaigns for you.
Q: Do you offer photography services?
A: I am not a professional photographer, but YES I can be available to do photography. I offer no guarantees on photography services, I am an amateur photographer and love to play with photography. I have photographed several plays, 2 weddings, and nature/animal photography.
Q: Do you offer training classes?
A: Yes, I am available for WordPress Training (one hour of basic training is included in my website creation so that my clients have the ability to blog on their new website if desired). I can also offer basic photoshop, quark and illustrator training.
Q: What is your payment policy?
A: Glad you asked. I prefer Paypal over any other method (other than cash of course). My payment terms are 50% down, net at project completion. Using PayPal allows me to accept checks, and credit cards. Other payment arrangements can be made prior to the start of the project (for select clients). In order to avoid the 50% down payment, you must fill out a credit application and provide 4 references for consideration. All clients must follow the 50% down payment for a minimum of 3 months prior to submitting a credit applicaton. If your credit application is approved, payment is expected within 15 days of project completion.
